Deco Distilling is pleased to announce their newest product line addition, Deco Coffee Rum!
We use Portland-roasted arabica beans, enriching this rum with full-bodied flavor and aroma. An eagerly awaited and carefully developed sibling to Deco Ginger Rum, Deco Coffee Rum remains at a standard 80 proof yet boasts a smooth and rich coffee taste, all without the sweetness of a liqueur.
“As vanguards, we take our passion and our products very seriously,” says co-founder, Lenny Gotter. “This isn’t like any other coffee spirit. You can count on that!”
Now members of Portland’s Distillery Row, owners Lenny Gotter and Bill Adams started Deco Distillery in 2008 from the ground-up, developing the company mission and recipes around their passion for distilled spirits.
Deco Rums can now be found in a majority of Oregon liquor stores and at various bars and fine restaurants in the Portland area.
A birth-date celebration will be held on March 22, 2011 at 7pm at Thatch Tiki Bar on SE Broadway in Portland.

What kind of coffee is used? With beer and other similar products there is usually a cross-promotion, and I like to support local synergy. Great idea though! I’ll definitely try this out! Do any bars currently carry this?
We use hand-roasted Arabica coffee from a local Portland, Oregon roaster. It’s strong!
